A Pair of Huanghuali Horseshoeback Armchairs, Quanyi

The U-curved toprail extending to the arms terminating in hooked ends with rounded knops supported on the front posts with shaped flanges, the S-curved backsplats carved with a pierced medallion enclosing a qilin amidst fruiting, flowering stems and flanked by curvilinear flanges, the legs joined by a stepped footrest and stretchers and an arch-shaped apron carved with a design of squared scrolls
