Chancery folio, 306 x 209 mm. (12 x 8 1/4 in.), nineteenth-century calf, covers with blind roll-tooled neoclassic border, rebacked, worn and rubbed, inner hinges cracked, very light spotting to first leaf, occasional minor marginal staining, worming to last 40 leaves.

Collation: a10 b-o8 p6 q-y8 z10 &8 aa-ee8 ff6. 240 leaves, unfoliated. Type: 8*:109R3 (text), 110Gk (one letter on c5v). 52 lines. Spaces for 7-, 4- and 3-line initials, supplied throughout in liquid gold on a blue ground within ornamental border in siena or orange.

FIRST EDITION, an attractive copy with wide margins.
