The arched molded crestrail cenetered by a floral spray above a padded shaped back and bowed seat covered with cream cotton flanked by outcurved arms on inverted-cabriole supports, the seatraail centered by a floral spray, on cabriole legs each headed by a flowerhead, inscribed 10 four times

Two very similar fauteuils stamped NOGARET.A.LYON, one in walnut, sold Lyon, 21 November 1983, the other Drouot, Paris, 4 December 1986 and are illustrated in Pierre Kjellberg, Le mobilier francais du XVIIIe siêcle, Paris, 1989, p. 605, fig. c, p. 607.
