A Venetian standing bowl and cover
17th Century
The shallow bowl of bucket shape applied with two turquoise trailed threads to the underside, supported on ribbed knop between two mereses above a spreading conical folded foot, the domed cover with two similar trailed threads, the finial formed as a ribbed knop set between mereses surmounted by a dark-blue inverted baluster knop
