A faon de Venise two-handled vase
Late 17th/18th Century, Spain
Of straw tint and enriched overall with faint granular gilding, the compressed globular body with vertically moulded ribs beneath a flared neck, the applied scroll handles with pincered thumb-pieces and terminals, the domed ribbed foot with upturned folded rim (hole beneath lower terminal of one handle, stained)
