A faon de Venise cold-painted square devotional flask
18th Century, Venice
Of a brownish tint with short flared neck, the sides painted a freddo with a standing figure of St. Nicholas, the reverse with three boys in a tub and a youth holding a salver bearing a ewer, within gilt dash and scroll cartouches (flaking to decoration)
