The movement with pierced rectangular plates of rafter construction, single wire fusee with extended barrel in the base, the great wheel with six crossings, anchor escapement and short silk suspension pendulum, the silvered cut-out Roman chapter ring with blued steel spade hands, on ebonised oval base -- 17in. (43.5cm.) high; under glass dome (cracked)
