A Regency mahogany striking bracket clock, first quarter 19th century
The case with brass handle to the breakarch top, arched fishscale sound frets to the sides, with brass inlay to the front and on brass ball feet, the white painted Roman dial (crackling, some rubbing) signed I (?) T CREMER CHELMSFORD (rubbed), the twin wire fusee movement with anchor escapement and strike on bell to the backplate with engraved border and pendulum holdfast -- 16¼in. (41.5cm.) high
