The arched case with arched brass fishscale sound frets to the sides, on stepped and moulded base with gilt-brass bracket feet, with gilt-brass bezel to the white enamel Roman convex dial with Arabic five minutes and crossed minute markers (chips to winding holes), spade hands, signed GRANT Fleet Street LONDON No.416, the twin wire fusee movement with anchor escapement and strike on bell, with pendulum holdfast to the foliate scroll engraved backplate -- 15in.
