An Imari dish
painted and gilt with a central jardiniere of peonies on a terrace, within a border of retreats amongst blossoming trees and scrolling foliage -- 13½in. (34.2cm.) diam; another Imari dish with a central vase of peonies within a border of swirling panels of chrysanthemums and peonies -- 10¾in. (27.2cm.) diam; and a further dish with a jardiniere of peonies and chrysanthemums surrounded by birds amongst flowers and stylised lotus -- 9¾in. (24.7cm.) diam, all 18th Century, (the first restored, the second cracked.)
