A Minton majolica oyster-stand
modelled with four tapering tiers of oyster shells with white-glazed interiors and brown exteriors, resting on nests of green seaweed, the handle formed as three fish and an eel, the stand constructed to revolve on a metal-mounted circular foot, impressed marks, year cypher for 1864 (chips) -- 26cm. high
