A Cavalry-style mess-jacket of white drill, the jacket and cuffs edged all round with 1 in. white mohair braid, three holes in each end of collar for metal badges (not fitted), plain white shoulder-straps, fastened with gilt half-ball buttons, bearing gilt and enamel badges of rank; and a No.3 Dress frock of white drill, with collar and shoulder- straps as for the mess-jacket, and gilt half-ball buttons to front and pockets (unusual skirt-pockets with expanding gussets) (2)
