The hand-modelled head of thick-walled red clay with a square chin, pursed lips, naturalistic nose, wide convex eyes, and impressionistic cap-like hair, the ears (left missing, right fragmentary) separately attached, the nostrils and ear canals pierced, 8in. (20.3cm.) high
