gouache on paper, polychrome, divided into several panels, each filled with a different design including square kufic, inscription cartouches, and knots, red and yellow divisions - 63 x 48cm.; another similar, the two central sections containing a circular knot and an arch, bordered with inscription panels - 46 x 32, both mounted, both North africa, late 19th or 20th century; and a third calligraphic panel, after Ghluam Reza, comprising a couplet in large script made up of lines of smaller script, in clouds on a ground painted with country scenes of men shooting birds, red and gold margins, inscribed below 'musawwir shu'ib ibn haj murtadi qalikhan', Qajar Iran, 19th/20th century - 41 x 57cm.
