gouache heightened with gold on paper, Bahram Gur hunts with attendants and pins the onager's foot to its ear with an arrow, two lines of black nasta'liq in four columns above and below, blue, orange, green and gold margins between black rules, blue outer rule, mounted in Chinese 18th century (early Ching) brocade, framed and glazed, Shiraz, late 16th century, (splitting along lower margins, some smudging and spotting) - 21.5 x 15cm.
