Probably Calcutta, late 18th/early 19th century
Baluster form on spreading circular foot with rope twist rim and gadroon border, the body repoussé and chased with scrollwork and flowers, with asymmetrical cartouches engraved with a coat-of-arms with crest and motto, and another crest and motto, with leaf-capped scroll handle, marked on bases
