Woven in wools and silks, depicting a wooded river landscape with two gentlemen and two ladies, the gentlemen having returned from hunting, with a carriage in the distance, flanked on each side by a column supporting a fruit and foliate-swagged frieze centred by a blue cartouche, the base with a conforming border, restorations, a 4 in. x 3½ in. patch just below the central cartouche, losses to the top outer brown slip, limited areas of exposed weft
