With reference to this series Mark Haworth-Booth writes "He [Silvy] had often photographed members of the exiled house of Orléans. As a leading light of the Société Franaise de Bienfaisance he photographed a glamorous "Fête Champêtre" held to raise funds for this charitable body on the grounds of Orleans House beside the Thames."
