Circular box, the independent cover set with an enamel miniature depicting a couple dancing and embracing before a stone tablet inscribed 'SERMENT D'AIMER TOUTE LA VIE' held by two putti, on a radiating translucent blue enamelled guilloché coin pattern, with gold paillon swag frame, within white enamel band, the sides with similar blue enamel decorated with flowers and birds, the base set with an enamel tondo painted with Cupid and a dove on a translucent blue enamelled ground engine-turned with an off-centre sunburst radiating coin pattern with white enamel surround, the slightly raised gold mounts stamped with stylised acanthus
