Rectangular box with rounded corners, the cover centred with a circular translucent blue enamel plaque set with the Austrian Imperial eagle in rose-cut diamonds set silver, surrounded by five silver-mounted old-cut diamonds, the left and right hand side of the cover with each three silver-mounted old-cut diamonds surrounded by gold c-scrolls on a matted gold ground, the sides and base with engine-turned panels cut by shaped reserves of stamped foliage on a matted ground, ribbon-twist borders, the corners of the sides with cartouches containing butterflies
