XUANDE SIX-CHARACTER MARK BELOW THE RIM AND OF THE PERIOD (1426-1435)
The sturdily potted shallow sides painted on the exterior in very stong blue tones with a composite floral scroll comprising peony, lotus, mallow, chrysanthemum, pomegranate and camellia, above a classic scroll around the foot and lotus panels in between, with attractive 'heaping and piling', the interior plain
11 in. (28cm.) diam.
