A good example of a modern copy in the style of the 14th century, copmrising an iron helmet-bowl with large rivet heads mounted in gilt metal with long straight kuwagata [horns] and a maedate [forecrest] of the invocation to the war god (Hachiman Dai Bosatsu); large omanju neck-guard with its forward edge turned back to form fukigaeshi [turnbacks] covered with printed leather; black-lacquered iron mask, nodowa [neck-guard] and osode [large shoulder-guards]; do [cuirass] of domaru form [wrapping around the body without hinges] with sendan and kyubi no ita on the front; sleeves of black-lacquered iron overlaid with gilt metal in the style called Yoshitsune-gote; kawara-haidate [thigh-guards] of russet iron; otateage-suneate [shin-guards]; pair of fur boots; the armour made of leather true lamellae throughout, gold-lacquered and laced overall in pale orange
