The rectangular top within a three-quarter pierced gallery, above three frieze drawers, the cylinder enclosing various open compartments and drawers and a pull-out leather-lined writing slide, above a central drawer flanked by two drawers to one side and a deep drawer faced as two and enclosing a coffre-forte on the other, with fluted quarter-turned angles, the sides with pull-out writing slides, on turned tapering fluted legs, later parcel-gilt
