signed TH. ROSENBERG BERLIN NO. 1652, the telescope with rack and pinion focusing, object glass dust cap, the axis raised on two A-frame supports, with 5-inch vertical circle, the vernier with associated adjustable magnifier incorporating a counter balance weight, with detachable cross bubble, the horizontal plate incorporating a universal bubble level, the enclosed silvered horizontal circle with twin magnifiers, incorporating ivorine shades, with tangent-screw fine adjustment, on similarly adjusted tripod mounting -- 155/8in. (40.4cm.) high
