by TROUGHTON & SIMMS LONDON, the unusual telescope with rack and pinion focusing, aluminium ray shade and folding sights, mounted with a graduated bubble level, the eyepiece with spider's web adjusters and rack and pinion vertical motion, with detachable cross bubble, the axis raised on twin A-frame supports incorporating the 5-inch vertical circle, with silvered scale and twin verniers, the horizontal chamfered silvered scale with similar verniers, tangent-screw fine adjustment and clamp, one A-frame with lamp mounting and lamp, the underframe of the horizontal circle with mounting for trough compass, on three-screw tripod attachment with some accessories, in the original mahogany carrying case -- 15in.
