Cooke, York, the telescope with rack and pinion focusing to the object glass (glass cracked,eyepiece lens dirty), supported on a limb frame, the half-circle graduated in two quadrants on one side, on the other 30-0-30 and inscribed Diff. of Hypo. & Base with single vernier and mangifier and tangent-screw fine adjustment, the compass beneath with edge-bar needle and clamp (clamp stuck), the base with two cross-bubbles and chamfered scale with twin verniers and magnifier (loose) and tangent-screw fine adjustment, mounted on fully adjustable tripod attachment (traces of polish in all crevices), with eyepiece extension tube, in the original fitted mahogany case -- 105/8in.
