Both of iron, the first heavily carved in Hikone-bori with a ho-o over a wisteria branch, the beak and legs inlaid in copper and other details in gold, signed Goshu Hikone no ju Yumeishi Nomura Soken, 7.5cm; the second in mokko form, the plate carved in typical fashion with stylised clouds, a leaf, a flower and other forms, 7.5cm.
