TWO TSUBA OF THE KAGA SCHOOL AND ANOTHER
Edo period (18th century)
A mokko shakudo tsuba inlaid with two areas of key-fret patterns in gold and, between them two areas of shippo-patterns in gold and copper, 6.5cm.; a circular Kaga school tsuba with a vertically grooved surface on both sides, pieced with a rectangular shape bordered by four loops within the broad rim, one area only on the rim inlaid with key-frets in silver, gold and copper, 7cm.; and a cast sentoku tsuba in the form of the two stepped halves of an awabi shell, signed Choshu Hagi no ju Tomokatsu saku, 7.35cm.
