A shakudo kozuka, the ends diagonally grooved and inlaid in silver and gilt hirazogan with a variety of designs, the centre with gilt hirazogan of insects, Kaga school; shakudo with various abstract designs in silver, gilt and shibuichi hirazogan, Kaga school; shibuichi, with a crane in shibuichi takazogan, gilt details, signed Ichijosai Hironaga with a kao; shakudo nanako with a flaming ken [straight sword] in shakudo takazogan, signed Nomura Masanao with a kao; shibuichi, carved with a tengu in a tree, gilt details, with signature Shozui; shakudo, a bird in copper hirazogan and bamboo in katakiri, with signatures Ichijo and Ikkin; shibuichi, two horses in katakiri; shibuichi, lightly carved with geese and the moon, gilt details, with signature Ichijo (8)
