The blade honzukuri, iorimune, toriizori with chugissaki, itamehada, gunome-midare hamon of nioi, midare boshi, ubu nakago, 26¾in. (68.1cm), in its brown lacquer saya decorated with birds and foliage (some old damage), matching tachi mounts and brass ishimeji tsuba, gilt mon menuki, 19th century
