TWO PAIRS OF BLUE GROUND CLOISONNÉ VASES
Meiji Period (Late 19th Century)
A pair of cloisonné vases decorated in various coloured enamels and silver wire with peonies growing among sprays of chrysanthemum, the neck with a band of key-fret pattern and the foot with a band of lappets, with a red enamel mark, slight scratches; and another pair decorated in various coloured enamels and silver wire of various thickness with sprays of poppies and foliage, the neck and the foot with a band of lappets, minor old damage
