AN EARLY NAMIKAWA CLOISONNÉ VASE
Attributed to Namikawa Yasuyuki, Meiji Period (Late 19th Century)
Decorated in various coloured enamels and gold and silver wires with four panels depicting butterflies and floral patterns, the foot with an elaborate band of overlapping lappets, the shoulder with stylised flowers and foliage, the cover similarly decorated and fitted with a finial modelled as a chrysanthemum bud, gilt rims
4¼in. (11cm.) high
