AN ELABORATE CLOISONNÉ AND SILVER DISH
Signed Hiratsuka Sei [made by Hiratsuka], Meiji Period (late 19th Century)
The finely chased and engraved lobed dish with a wide band of chrysanthemums, supported by four dragons, the interior with an impressive panel in silver and gold sujizogan and filigree and vivid cloisonné enamels, depicting a shishi among peony sprays, with a carved wood stand in the same manner as the silver dish
