A French porcelain oval portrait plaque of Napoléon as Emperor
Circa 1830, signed Sie. Liénard, inscribed on the reverse Napoléon le Grand.
Painted by Sophie Liénard, turned to his left with a berried laurel wreath in his hair, high collar and neckchief, ermine bib over a puce and gilt robe and wearing the Imperial Order, in an ormolu frame engraved with palmettes (slight scratch to surface)
