A Meissen hausmalerei teacup and saucer
Circa 1735, the decoration circa 1750, blue crossed swords mark and 4 within a double circle
Painted in underglaze blue and gilt with flowering shrubs issuing from rockwork and painted in colours by J.E. Ferner with plants, figures, animals, birds and a fortified building between gilt borders (restored rim chips, one with an associated crack)
