Three Frankenthal figures of Children from the Commedia dell'Arte
Circa 1785, blue crowned CT mark, he with 83 for 1783, the second with gilder's 70, the last with blue VII
The first as a boy dressed as Capitano, in yellow tunic and trousers with iron-red bows, carrying a slapstick, the second as a girl dressed as Columbine in dancing pose, in yellow hat, white bodice, orange-flowered apron, and puce striped skirt, the third as Columbine in black scarf, blue-edged dress and orange-flowered apron, holding a fan, all on scroll-moulded mound bases edged in gilding (he with restoration to right hand, hair and slapstick, end of slapstick lacking, the first Columbine with restoration to hat and right hand and minute chip to chin, the second with minute chip to left little finger, chip to left cuff)
