The case with brass handle to inverted bell top, breakarch glazed side panels, raised on block feet, the painted dial with scene of the Rest on the Flight into Egypt, cut out numbers I to III between fleur-de-lys markers and above an aperture with border numbered 1-60, backed by a revolving disc with two cut out circlets in turn backed by revolving discs with cut out odd and even numbers 1-12 respectively, the small movement housed between circular plates with tapering pillars, with scroll engraved border to the backplate and open footed cock, the single fusee movement with vertically positioned verge escapement; composite, case, dial and movement associated, case later purpose-made for Italian late 17th century dial and movement -- 17½in. (44.5cm.) high

No VAT will be charged on the hammer price, but VAT at 17.5% will be added to the buyer's premium which is invoiced on a VAT inclusive basis.

Lots will be available for collection following transfer to Cadogan Tate from the Friday 8 September and every week-day from 9.00a.m. to 5.00p.m.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE NO CHARGE TO PURCHASERS WHO COLLECT THEIR LOTS WITHIN ONE WEEK OF THIS SALE.
On the Thursday 14 September a transfer and administration charge of £18.50 per furniture lot, and £9.25 per non-furniture lot; and a storage charge of £3.20 per furniture lot and £1.60 per non-furniture lot per day; will come into effect. These charges are payable to Cadogan Tate and are subject to VAT and an insurance surcharge.
Please note: All charges due to Cadogan Tate must be paid at the time of collection from their warehouse. Only payment by cash, credit card or bankers draft will be accepted.
