The hood with moulded swan neck pediment flanking a half urn finial and above boxwood blind fret panels, the outset fluted columns with gilt painted capitals, the horn top trunk door flanked by fluted pilasters, on plain plinth raised on a skirting, the 12in. brass dial with mask and foliate spandrels to brass chapter ring, elaborately engraved centre with subsidiary seconds ring and cut steel hands, with signature on a plaque J. Fraser Stirling, with falseplate to the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement and shaped plates; composite, case and movement probably second half 19th century, dial 20th century -- 81in. (206cm.) high

Lots will be available for collection following transfer to Cadogan Tate from the Friday 8 September and every week-day from 9.00a.m. to 5.00p.m.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE NO CHARGE TO PURCHASERS WHO COLLECT THEIR LOTS WITHIN ONE WEEK OF THIS SALE.
On the Thursday 14 September a transfer and administration charge of £18.50 per furniture lot, and £9.25 per non-furniture lot; and a storage charge of £3.20 per furniture lot and £1.60 per non-furniture lot per day; will come into effect. These charges are payable to Cadogan Tate and are subject to VAT and an insurance surcharge.
Please note: All charges due to Cadogan Tate must be paid at the time of collection from their warehouse. Only payment by cash, credit card or bankers draft will be accepted.
