The Isard was the name used in the French market for the legendary German Goggomobil. They were produced at the GLAS factory in Dingolfing, Bavaria, and the TS400 was a most attractive sports version of the Goggomobil saloon. This two seater model was slightly heavier that its saloon brethren although somewhat faster with a top speed of 65mph.

The remarkably original coupe on offer today has travelled just 850 miles from new and has been carefully stored and maintained since 1959. Bruce Weiner purchased the car from its first owner when it still retained its original plastic seat coverings. The condition remains commensurate with the very low mileage, and the only restoration known to have taken place is a partial respray to the pale blue coachwork undertaken by the original owner.

A particularly original car, in excellent condition throughout, it is sold with a Province of Ontario title document.
