Maker's mark of W. & P. Cunningham, Edinburgh, 1800
Shaped oval and with faceted sides, with bright-cut engraved borders of scrolling foliage, scroll spout and wood handle, the hinged domed cover with oval wood finial, each side engraved with a foliage cartouche enclosing a monogram MW on one side, the conforming stand on four bracket feet and with similar engraving, each marked under base
The teapot 11¾in. (29.2cm.) long over handle; the stand 6½in. (16.5cm.) long
