A four-case gold lacquer ground inro
decorated in gold aokin, silver and black hiramaki-e, takamaki-e and togidashi-e, with gold and silver foil, with a party of travellers in a boat passing underneath a pine-tree; compartments and risers gold nashiji; shoulders and rims gold lacquer -- 3¼in. (8.2cms) high, late 18th/19th Century, red lacquer ojime carved with waves, 19th Century; ivory netsuke of an overloaded ferry-boat, signed Tadatoshi, late 19th Century.
