A five-case black lacquer ground elongated inro
decorated in gold, brown and silver takamaki-e with long armed monkeys playing in a flowering plum tree over a stream; compartments and risers, gold nashiji; shoulders and rims gold lacquer -- 3.7/8in. (9.8cms) high, signed in gold hiramaki-e underneath Komo Koryu, late 18th/19th Century; yellow stone ojime; painted wood netsuke of Daruma stretching after his ten-year meditation, late 19th/20th Century.
