and cover, decorated in hiramakie, takamakie and kirigane with huts and pine among hills in landscape scenes, nashiji interior -- 1.7/8in. (4.8cm) wide; a red lacquer rectangular box and cover, decorated in gilt with huts and sail boats in an estuary landscape -- 2¼in. (5.7cm) high, 19th Century; and a Chinese red lacquer lobed quatrefoil box and cover decorated with figures in a landscape scene with rockwork and pine -- 3.1/8in. (7.9cm) wide, 19th/20th Century, (minor chips, slight wear).
