A pair of Chinese painted pottery models of equestrian warriors
the moustacheod riders wearing tunics with flaring sleeves, breastplates and caps, both twisting round to one side with one pointing upwards with his left arm and the other with his arms held high as if shooting a bow from an arrow, the saddled horses standing four square and facing forwards with nostrils flaring, decorated in white, black and red pigments -- 12½in. (31.7cm.) high, Han Dynasty, (some restoration and wear).
