The dial with brass Roman and Arabic chapter ring, gilt rosette-engraved alarm disc to the centre, blued-steel minute hand (repaired), later hour hand, foliate spandrels, repeat button at chapter I, the movement with five ringed baluster pillars securing hexagonal plates signed Carl, Crems on the backplate with foliate pierced and chased footed cock to plain steel three arm balance with hairspring and calibrated regulation disc, the alarm wind square on the backplate with indirect drive to the barrel on the front-plate, chain fusee and barrel for the going train with verge escapement, going barrel for the strike train, the gilt hexagonal case with rectangular movement portals to the band, the base on brass toupie feet and with hinged movement cover with integral bell
