A COTTON-ON-LINEN NEEDLEWORK SAMPLER
Wrought by Ann E. Boller, dated 1836
Worked in blue, gray and tan threads in eight alphabetical registers above the horizontal verse, "Time Flies/Ann E Boller 1836"; together with three needleworks, one fragment with alphabetical and numeric registers and the inscription "Executed by Fanny Starling aged 9 Y", one with alphabetical registers and the inscription "I G Arthur 1837" and a needlework with a foliate wreath, animals, small landscape scenes and a tomb inscribed "AMITIE"
