Of slightly breakfront form, the canted rectangular brèche d'Alep marble top above three elm-panelled frieze drawers and two drawers inlaid sans traverse with panels of cube parquetry, centred by an eared panel of floral trelliswork, flanked by canted fluted angles headed by lion-masks, the sides with conforming cube parquetry with fluted back edge, on cabriole legs and foliate sabots, stamped 'P.H.MEWESEN' and 'JME' once, repair to marble top, restorations to veneer, partially remounted
