etching, 1893, on laid paper, watermark Arches, with the artist's intial stamp AS in grey, also with the interlocking SSSSS stamp in red, with margins, a deckle edge at the left and lower sheet edges, traces of printer's ink in the upper right corner, a short tear and several pinholes at the lower left corner, scattered foxing and surface dirt, foxing on the reverse, an area of mould (?) on the reverse of the upper margin, some soft creasing
