A massive European carpet, Probably Austrian
The ivory field with overall diagonal rows of large yellow cusped medallions, each containing various polychrome palmettes, and cloudbands surrounded by similar palmettes and flowering vine in a shaped of open panel, in light blue border of polychrome palmettes and angular floral vine between yellow and terracotta floral vine stripes, outer plain stripe, small area of candle wax at one side, slight localized wear, small cuts at one side
