A Dagger Of Landsknecht Type
With robust slightly hollow tapering single-edged blade (minor pitting) painted with red collection numbers at the forte, gilt-brass hilt (gilding slightly rubbed) comprising short slightly arched quillons with mushroom-shaped finials each decorated with radiating gadrooning, pommel en suite, and one-piece ebony grip of compressed triangular cushions heightened at each corner with a small brass ring and with turned gilt-brass ferrule at the top and bottom (grip with minor chips and cracks, bottom ferrule split)
